The money was doubled through their Big Give campaign and put towards a Medic 50 critical care car for first responders

LIVES: THE HOME OF LIFE SAVING IN LINCOLNSHIRE
LIVES Medic First Responders are trained doctors, nurses and paramedics. They give up their time for free to respond for LIVES.
Critical injury can strike at any minute. At any time of day. In any location.
Think about that. You could be literally anywhere. Miles from home. Hours away from a specialist hospitals. When without any warning, you find yourself in a life-threatening condition having suffered a cardiac arrest, accident trauma, or serious assault, for example.
Who’s going to be able to get there equipped with the skills to save your life? Who’s got the medical experience to perform an array of life saving procedures, right there on the spot?
The LIVES Critical Care Car provides that very lifeline. They have a critical care vehicle at the ready, for when that unimaginable event happens. To put it simply, the Critical Care Car is capable of mobilising highly specialised critical care in a heartbeat. On board is both the high-level expertise and the equipment to be able to act fast and save lives.
