Gardener / Groundsperson
We are looking for an enthusiastic gardener to maintain the Company gardens and trial plot. The ideal candidate should have a broad knowledge of gardening, be able to work on their own initiative, be willing to work in all weather conditions and hold a full driving licence.
The role will involve:
• Lawn maintenance (grass cutting, etc.)
• Flowerbed / container maintenance
• Pruning of hedges / shrubs
• Maintaining the Company trial plot
• Regular use of mowers, strimmer, hedge cutter & other machinery
• Additional garden maintenance
The post will require you to work a basic 5-day week and overtime could be available in busy times. Horticultural & general maintenance experience would be an advantage. Ability to work alone or as part of a team. In case of bad weather, some warehouse/yard duties are available. We offer a good rate of pay, a friendly working environment and training.
