New “Hever Castle” Narcissus variety
We are excited to launch the newly named Narcissus “Hever Castle”, a bespoke variety grown exclusively for the estate. The new ‘Hever Castle’ daffodil is distinguished by its wonderful golden trumpet, echoing the bright yellows favoured by William Waldorf Astor, who famously carpeted the estate in Kent with daffodils more than a century ago when he spent close to a billion pounds in today’s money creating the spectacular gardens.
One of Astor’s personal favourites was the iconic ‘King Alfred’, and the new ‘Hever Castle’ daffodil, being unveiled at the Estate on 16 March, pays fitting tribute to that history with it’s similarly large-shaped trumpet and golden colour.

Narcissus Hever Castle is available to pre-order online at www.bulbs.co.uk/product/narcissus-hever-castle; bulbs will be delivered in September 2026.

RHS Malvern Spring Festival & Chelsea Flower Show
We are delighted to be back at RHS Chelsea Flower Show (19th – 23rd May 2026) with our award-winning Daffodil display. The team will also be attending the RHS Malvern Spring Festival (7th – 10th May) a new addition to the show schedule for Taylors bulbs. Charlotte has already got the bulbs planted and growing ready for the show where we will be aiming for our 33rd Gold Medal.

Gardening with Alan Titchmarsh Youtube channel
We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with the channel for a second year as official suppliers. In 2025 videos on the channel featuring our products from the UK’s most recognisable gardening name totalled over 300,000 views.
Alan commented: “Taylors Bulbs added some glorious summer colour to my pots and containers this year and the audience response on the channel was fantastic. I’ve already planted a range of Narcissi and Tulips in pots ready for a fabulous show in the spring”.
With nearly 100,000 subscribers already, the channel looks set for another great year of being the go-to place for gardening advice on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/@GardeningWithAlanTitchmarsh

Packed With Joy
After the successful launch of our Packed With Joy campaign in 2025, we continue in 2026 with retailers using the branding to create strong in store bulb displays, spreading the message of “Plant now for a season packed with joy”.
The campaign is backed up with a strong digital marketing programme including a calendar of content alongside Packed With Joy branded imagery for our customers to use to promote bulb planting via their own socials.

New Varieties
As usual, Taylors Bulbs are bringing a host of new spring and summer flowering varieties to market in 2026. With over 60 new varieties across the two flowering seasons, there are plenty of interesting additions for UK gardeners to get their hands on.
