As part of their centenary in 2019, Taylors Bulbs are working in conjunction with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) to host a day celebrating the spectacular and varied genus of Narcissus. The Daffodil Day will take place on 10th April 2019 at Taylors Bulbs, Holbeach, Lincolnshire.
Highlights of the day will include:
- Opportunity to explore the bulb growing area where there are over 400 varieties of daffodils in cultivation
- Informative talks from world renowned experts Christine Skelmersdale and Brian Duncan about daffodils and other bulbs
- Access to the Taylors Bulbs trial ground where hundreds of different spring flowering bulbs are planted
- View the machinery and talk to the people involved in producing top quality daffodil bulbs
The Daffodil Day is suitable for ages 16+. Please note that some areas of the farm may not be accessible to disabled visitors. There is a small charge of £5 per person (non-refundable) for the day which includes a light lunch and refreshments.
